Digital incident review.
Understand what happened and preserve the record.
Evidence intake, chronology, impact evaluation and recommendations.
After an incident, fragmented messages and screenshots can make the sequence of events difficult to understand. An incident review establishes a chronology, identifies the records that support each event and highlights missing evidence. The resulting brief can help internal teams decide what to preserve, which questions to ask and whether a specialist or competent authority should be consulted.
How a review is structured
We begin by clarifying the question to be answered, identifying lawful and relevant information sources, and establishing the boundaries of the proposed work. Available records may then be grouped into a chronology, source register or thematic evidence set.
What the findings can include
Depending on the agreed scope, a deliverable may include a documented summary, cited observations, a list of unresolved items, a visual chronology or practical recommendations for independent follow-up. Findings describe limitations and do not imply the ability to control banks, platforms or third-party systems.
Each engagement is subject to an individually agreed scope and to appropriate permissions. For questions about this service, contact our team to discuss the information available and the type of review that would be suitable.
